Carpenters Union Locals 33, 40, 67, 218, 723 and more than 1,300 contractors who have signed agreements with The New England Regional Council of Carpenters.
: To apply you must attend an information session on the first Monday of any month (the following Monday if there's a holiday). These sessions will be held at 9AM and 3 PM at 750 Dorchester Ave, Boston. No pre-registration is required.

Territorial Jurisdiction: Boston, Belmont, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelsea, Dedham, Everett, Malden, Medford, Milton, Revere, Somerville, Winthrop, Boston Harbor Islands and Local Union 723: Woodframe whose jurisdiction is all of Massachusetts.
Term of Apprenticeship: 4 Years
Training: All apprentices spend one week every three months at the New England Carpenters Training Center in Millbury, MA. This training includes concrete forms, drywall installation, finish, doors, acoustical ceilings, house framing, estimating, blueprint reading, transit and level.
Entry Requirements:
- Must be 17 years of age or older.
- Must be in good physical condition, may require a physical.
- Must provide high school transcript indicating graduation from high school, high school transcript and diploma, or GED scores indicating a passing score in order to be granted an interview.
- Must pass an interview conducted by the Boston Carpenters Apprenticeship and Training Fund.
- Although there are no residency restrictions, residents of jurisdiction preferred.
